Tigers parent taking part in charity event

A parent of the U11 Tigers is taking part in a triathlon and 100-mile cycle race for Thinking Of Oscar.

Robert Douglas is looking to raise £1,000 for the event on 4 and 5 June 2016 and you can donate at his JustGiving page.

He said: “This is the second time out for me raising money for this great charity with the aim of making children’s care and stay in hospital that much better. It was set-up in memory of Oscar Cole, who tragically died aged just 16 months old. Your donations will go towards a new paediatric procedures unit which will really help children as they go through some traumatic times in hospital.

“This time round I am doing both the triathlon and the Prudential 100-mile cycle ride. A useful test of my ankle after dislocating it and breaking my leg towards the end of last year. I really appreciate you taking five minutes to read this and to click through and sponsor me if you can manage it. I appreciate we all get many sponsorship requests so I really want to thank you for any donations you can make.”

Everyone at Walton Casuals Juniors wish Rob the best of luck!
